Garrett High School

Cyann Lilly and Brooklyn LeQuia competed in education related competitions at the Indiana Educators Rising Conference in Indianapolis on Friday, February 28. Cyann presented about a fairy tale lesson she taught in Holly Wright's first grade class. Brooklyn participated in a mock job interview for a special education paraprofessional position. She did so well that one of the interviewers offered her a job when she turns 18! Both students needed a score of 80% or higher to qualify to represent Garrett High School and the state of Indiana at the National Educators Rising Conference this summer in Orlando, Florida. Cyann earned 97%, and Brooklyn earned 94%. Congratulations to both and good luck in Orlando!
