The students conducted research to find the most suitable tower capable of withstanding a minimum of 10lbs. The tower needed to have a height of 18" and utilize a minimum of 250 toothpicks. Additionally, it had to be able to support at least 10lbs without any structural failure. Out of all the attempts, only one tower successfully surpassed the 10lbs requirement.
