Summer Meal Program
With summer approaching, we will no longer be doing the weekly meal distribution on Fridays. This week will be the last Friday Meal-Pick up. We are going back to our regular summer meals served daily with the option for students to take them to go. This free program will be Monday-Friday starting on June 1st.

Kindergarten Registration
It's time for Kindergarten Registration! Here are some important dates for this year's Kindergarten Registration. April, 8th: KARE Grab Bag Day. Drive-thru event in front of the JE Ober from 5:30-7:30PM. April, 22nd: Kindergarten Packet Due. Packets will be distributed during the KARE Grab Bag Day or can be picked up in the Ober Office during school hours. May, 6th and 7th: Kindergarten Screening. When you turn your packet in, you will sign up for a time to bring you child in for screening. August, 12th: First day of school!

BYOAD Program Update
There will be some changes to the BYOAD (Bring Your Own Apple Device) program for the 2021-2022 school year. Elementary and Middle School will stay the same and continue using iPads for this program. The High School will be switching to iPads instead of MacBooks for the 2021-2022 school year. If students were enrolled in the BYOAD program for the 2020-2021 school year with a MacBook, they will be grandfathered in until they graduate. Andrew Leman Awarded the Rockwell Scholarship
Congratulations to Andrew Leman who was awarded the Rockwell Scholarship! This scholarship was awarded by the Impact Institute who partnered with The Rockwell Foundation. Together, they award yearly scholarships to CTE (Career and Technical Education) students. Andrew participated in Welding and plans to attend Vincennes University participating in the AIM (Advanced Internship in Manufacturing) program.

Mr. Thomas Announced as Winner for Award
Mr. Thomas was announced as the winner of the 2020 Outstanding Earth Science Teacher (OEST) Central Section. This award is given by The National Association of Geoscience Teachers (NAGT). The award is for "exceptional contributions to the stimulation of interest in Earth Sciences at the pre-college level".
