Dircksen, Aidan Custer, Brayden Fisher, and Trevor Armstrong, was selected as the 2nd place winner for the Indiana Virtual Science Symposium and will be moving on to the Regional Symposium in Wisconsin.

AND THERE'S MORE!!!

The top selected poster among 15 submissions goes to "Study of Electrical Conductivity and Total Dissolved Solids over the Length of Garrett City Ditch", conducted by Noah Dapp, Halie Andrews, Dylan Raymond, Sarah Cooper, and Grace Weller.

The students of Salty Surveyors have dedicated their time on weekends throughout the school year and over the summer recess to plan, collect, and analyze soil and water samples throughout the community. Their hard work and passion for deeper understanding has truly made a difference in their learning experience. The Salty Surveyors want to thank the local organizations who have made a serious impact and support for the program, especially the Dekko Foundation, GKB Education Foundation, James Foundation, United Way of Dekalb County, and the Dekalb County Community Foundation. A special thank you also goes to Craig Gillespie of G6 Vision Hawk in assisting with drone technology and training for our students.
